This plane was not known to have been at Freeman Field until Mr. Ware's photos were discovered.

The photo labeled as a XPG-2A (print #183665 labeled as serial number 49-0986) is the XPG-3 #44-90986, the second production article CG-15A by WACO. This glider was the only XPG-3.  It was a production CG-15A built byWACO and converted under USAAF contract by WACO to the XPG-3 with 230 horsepower radial engines.
